The Management of Security and
Forensic Studies Nigeria in
collaboration with Catholic Cadet Organization of Nigeria National Council, the
Catholic Cadets were trained by Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria on
Proficiency Certificate Course (PCC). The event took place at CIBP Conference
Hall, Secretariat Road Gwagwalada, Abuja, from Wednesday being 14th August to 17th August 2019. The
training programme was attended by Hundred (100) Catholic Cadet
Members,
amongst the candidates were the Convener of the program Group General Geofrank
B. Sule the National Coordinator Catholic Cadet of Nigeria, Cadet General
Umarson Samila Deputy National Coordinator (operation), Cadet Group
Emmanuel Shinkut Deputy National Coordination (Administration), Group
Leader
Emmanuel Bulus Director of Finance, Group Leader Matthew Adisize
National
Adjutant.

The convener of the program Group Commander Geofrank Sule in his
opening
speech welcomed the Catholic Cadets to Abuja from their various
destinations, he
also urged them to pay attention to the lectures that will be
delivered so that the
aim of the training program will not be defeated, he also guaranteed
them by
saying the Management of Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria is well
equipped
to deliver more than their expectations because they have been tested
and
trusted in delivering lectures that is capable of checkmating, curbing
and reducing the escalating figure of the problem of insecurity in the society.

Security and Forensic Studies gave his lecture on Introduction To
Ethics In Relative To Military And Paramilitary Profession In Nigeria, he spoke
on the definition of ethics, definition of military and paramilitary, key terms
and concepts e.g. Culture, tradition, ethics, ethos, customs etc , discipline,
respect for others, core values, smoking, courtesy, conclusion, evaluation, the
participants were made to understand the ethics of the military and
paramilitary that is given the
responsibility for providing security in the nation.

and Forensic Studies Nigeria gave his lecture on Meaning Of Conflicts
And Peace
Studies / Mechanism of Conflict Resolution And Peace Studies, he spoke
on the
definition of conflict, definition of peace studies, parties to
disagreement, the
needs, interest or concern with practical examples, early / likely
indicators and
mechanisms put in place for peace to be in existence, definition of
conflict
mechanism, conflict transformation, conflict management, types of
theory, to
understand the mechanisms to put in place to resolve conflicts.

Studies Nigeria gave his lecture on Meaning / Importance of Studying
Security and Forensic Studies, he spoke on the definition of Security and
Security Studies,
definition of Forensic and studies, importance of studying security,
important of
forensic studies, personal and physical safety, objectives for
employers,
importance of forensic studies, solving queries of crime, providing
meaningful
leads in investigation, shows types of crime, conclusion and
evaluation.

Security and
Forensic Studies Nigeria gave his lecture on Nigeria Legislation
System, he spoke
on the introduction to Nigeria legislation system, types of law, interpretation
of
statutes, cannons, literal rules, golden rules, mischief rules,
ejusden generis,
understanding the Nigeria legislation system and the various types of
laws and
the rules as it affects the security system.
The catholic Cadet Officers were drawn from various state of the
federation to prepare them against the recent insecurity bedeviling this
nation.
One Hundred participants were nominated for the programs. Security and
Forensic Studies Nigeria played a vital role in training the
participant. The
successful participants were issued Certificate on Proficiency
Certificate Course
(PCC).
The passing out ceremony was organized and dignitaries from Catholic
communities
were in attendance.
