WELCOME ADDRESS MADE ON BEHALF OF THE COUNCIL OF SECURITY AND FORENSIC STUDIES NIGERIA AND IT PARTNERS, HELD ON 20th APRIL, 2019. FOR SHORT COURSE ON PCC, BCC, APC, EMC PROGRAM AT GOVERNMENT SEC. SCH. AREA 1 GARKI-ABUJA.

 The institute has emerged from bodies to make it one effective Professional body that meet the state of the art standard and accepted by National and International communities, having been recommended and approved by Nigerian Government through the National Security Adviser, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Interior with a focal point of training and certifying members of the professional arm of government, Security and Forensic is the first Forensic Professional body that is attached with Security in (10m)Ten Million Naira Nominal share Capital Incorporated under  CAMA Act 1990.
The Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria received her blessing from both Local and International professional body that include Nigeria as a member Security and Forensic Studies which is targeted toward Advancement of Security and Intelligence Platform to curb the menace of criminality with easy or no stress in the investigation and also to aid the litigation process.
This is geared toward training Forensic Expert on the need to advance on enlightenment to corporate bodies or individual on private services like premarital investigation, post matrimonial investigation, employee investigation, missing person, family dispute, accident investigation and fire incident.

The Institute is in partnership with:
a.       Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria.
b.      College of Detective Investigation and Legal Studies Nigeria, (CDILSN).
c.       Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Centre of Nigeria, (APRCN).
d.      Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University (USA).
e.       INSIS International.
f.        American Forensic Science (AFS), USA.
g.       Analytical approach of Forensic Investigation, UK.

Hence, the Management has put up a blue print that the program would run on a jointly effort in building the participants to a greater opportunity and disposition.

1.                  Proficiency Certificate Course (PCC) on Peace/Conflict Resolution and Forensic Studies, Duration one (1) Month Weekend Only.
Direct Entry Qualification:
v   WAEC, SSCE, TRADE TEST
Amount Required:
1.      Enrolment form                                N5,000
2.      Materials                                            N4,000
3.      Exam Fees                                          N4,000

2.                     The Basic Certificate Course (BCC) on Basic Intelligence and Detective Studies.
This stage would be handled by the College of Detective Investigation and Legal Studies. Duration is the same (1) one Month.
Entry Qualification:
v  PCC, Bsc, NCE, OND, HND, etc.
Amount Required:
1.      Enrolment form                                N5,000
2.      Materials                                            N5,000
3.      Exam Fees                                          N5,000

4.   Advanced Professional Course: This stage is embodied with specialization which include;
a.       Intelligence Investigation Forensics Studies.
b.      Medical Forensic Studies.
c.       Accounting/Auditing Forensic Studies.
d.      Legal/Litigation Forensic Studies.
e.       Document/Signature Examiner Forensic Studies.
f.        Electioneering Forensic Studies.
g.       Cyber Security Forensic Studies.
h.      Forensic Journalism Studies.
i.        Advanced Peace and Conflict Resolution Forensic Studies.
It is expected that at this APC stage, the participants are expected to tick area of specialization, this would enable us prepare the participant, for Induction/Award Ceremony based on their area of specialization.
Direct Entry Qualification:
v  BCC, Msc, MBA, FELOW OF OTHER PROFESSIONAL BODIES.

The last stage is Executive Managerial Course (EMC):
This stage is handled by Advanced Peace and Reconciliation Centre of Nigeria, (APRCN).
The period is (1) one weekend on attendance, and this would qualify the participant for the induction as a Fellow of the Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria (FSFS).
The Enrolment Form: N5, 000, Materials N6, 000 this state is the final stage that all successful participants would be shortlisted for the Fellowship Award.
 Direct Entry Qualification: Advanced/ Professional Course (APC).


5.            The Directorate Executive Course (Dec): This categories is for Directorate, Service Chief of Military and Paramilitary Organization,
Direct Entry Qualification:
v  Directors of Government Establishment.
v  Senator.
v  Ministers and any other Service chief of Paramilitary /Military.
Amount Required:
1.      Enrolment form                                N10,000
2.      Materials                                            N100,000
Research work is self supervised project of 30 pages submitted before induction, the induction fees N40, 000 as a trained fellows.
The total cost of the Induction is N40, 000 including all the items like certificates in training e.g. PCC, BCC, APC, EMC, and Fellowship Frame, Gold Medal, ID Card, Booklet, Official Gazette N3, 000.
Generally, the Exam date is 4th April 2019.At respective study centres. The questions are objectives in nature and 40 questions, to answer, 40, based on general knowledge; the passed mark is 45%.

Repeat of candidates more than Twice, would lose his or her chances of becoming a member.

Generally, the entire Professional bodies on Forensics Studies in USA have accredited our programs and the membership of the International and Nation Professional bodies in Nigeria has its own accreditation with Fellow of Security and Forensics Studies Nigeria.

Therefore, the three batches of last quarter of the year would be having Induction and Award Ceremony at National Merit Award, house Maitama on 3rd June, 2019.

At any steps, graduate are expected to do their clearance to avoid late registration charges.

The Management decision is to conferred on the successful ones, Senior Fellow on Security and Forensic Studies
